Does anyone else feel that, as a nation, we're a bit... I dunno, blinvisible at the moment?

Then Europe makes noises about forging ahead without Ireland on foot of the Lisbon Treaty 'No' vote.

And on Saturday night, la Sugababes cried off their slot supporting Boyzone in the RDS due to "illness". Indeed. They didn't look too sick at Nelson Mandela's birthday bash the previous night, did they..?

It'd be enough to give any country a right inferiority complex.
